The Faith Formation and Youth Ministry team at St. Priscilla is pleased to introduce you to the Life Teen Ministry Companion.  We received the print copy during the 2009 Life Teen Training Convention held June 14-17 in Carefree, Arizona.  Arizona in June?!?  Yep, it was pretty toasty - but wonderful!

The Ministry Companion is a wonderful tool to help those Core Team members already involved in Life Teen and Edge Youth Ministry, those contemplating involvement in this ministry, parents and our parish at large reach a deeper understanding of our mission and the approach on what's required to reach out and minister to our youth 

As you know, St. Priscilla began its Life Teen journey in the fall of 200?.  The Life Teen model has been a blessing to our parish and to the high school youth we serve.  We are excitedly anticipating our inaugural semester of The Edge Middle School Youth Ministry, beginning this fall.

The Life Teen Ministry Companion is packed with relevant information providing an overview of both Life Teen and Edge Programs, core values, Eucharist, liturgy and music, catechesis, outreach and training.  It's a wonderful tool that can be referenced over and over during discernment and ministry.  Although we have omitted some of the sample forms, how-to's on starting Life Teen in a parish, and other resource references already being utilized by the team at St. P's, retrofitted to meet our needs at St. P's, we have left 100% of the meat and potatoes of the original text.
