Pre/K through Grade 5
Faith First
Children in grades P/K through-Grade 5 follow the Faith First program, which is a traditional faith formation program committed to sharing the richness of our faith and building family values. Each session includes stories, activities, scripture, prayer, discussion and reflection.
Parents are always welcome to attend any or all sessions with the children. Moreover, the Faith First website offers interactive and supplemental materials for the family.
Classes
Faith Formation classes for P/K, and Grades 1 - 5 begin
The week of September 17th and run through mid-May. Registration is required. Classes are offered on the following days and times:
- Sunday 11:00--12:00 PM P/K Ages 3-4-5
- Monday 5:30--7:00 p.m. Grades 1-5
- Thursday 5:30-- 7:00 PM Grades 1-5
The sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation are generally celebrated in the 2nd grade. Sacramental preparation begins in the 1st grade and enrollment in Faith Formation is required during both years of this two-year preparation period.
Volunteer
Faith sharing is life sharing! All classes are taught by volunteers. We are always looking for men and women willing to donate their gift of time and faith. Please consider the possibility of teaching in our program. Training is provided.
