Our One Eight
program is structured to follow the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). This format provides opportunities for the Sacrament of Confirmation to participate in several rituals modeled after those that occur during RCIA. These rituals and prayer experiences are meant to foster a deeper sense of belonging the Catholic Church.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth."
- Acts 1:8
One Eight is divided into three phases of preparation, each with distinct features, themes and rituals that are modeled after the RCIA process. To learn more about each of these phases, click on the text links below.

Period of Mission
Each session has a unique environment to complement the topic. Some environments are used as visual aids during the "proclaim" (teaching). The environment transforms the space used for each session - from an empty parish hall or room - into a tool that helps draw the teens more deeply into the session.
Please pray for our Confirmandi, their parents and sponsors, and the Confirmation Core Team as together we walk into a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
