At Saint Priscilla, there are many ways to share your talents and gifts with our parish family. One way is to help at our G.I.F.T. events. The old saying, "Many hands make light work" certainly fits here.
We need folks who like to work behind the scenes, small group leaders and catechists for our break-out sessions, and guys and gals that are willing to be front-and-center as presenters. Best of all, there's something for everyone who wants to be involved. For example:
At November 2010 G.I.F.T. event "The Miracle Hour," there were 18 different presenters - all parishioners - many of whom had never spoken before a large group. At our January event, "Fr. Theo's Secret Fire," 120 parishioners were our "living rosary" with many more folks working behind the scenes. To read guests' comments from these two events, Click Here.
At last summer's event on Vocations, with the help of our Drama and Movie Ministry, some of our parishioner volunteers made video commercials.
Our G.I.F.T. Kitchen Krew has a ton of fun preparing and serving our guests. We know that one of the best ways to come together as a community - and get to know each other better - is while breaking bread and sharing a meal.
We need set-up and tear-down help. We need folks to help with the technical side of the event. We need photographers and videographers to capture the essence of the events which helps with future promotion. Again, there's something for everyone.
Interested?!? Fill out the "G.I.F.T. Volunteer Opportunities Form" below, and we'll be in touch to chat about how best to utilize your gifts and talents. Can't volunteer, then be sure to come as a guest. To register, Click Here.
Joining us at a G.I.F.T. event presents a wonderful opportunity to be with friends, to get to know others in our parish family, and to come closer to Jesus as we continue Growing In Faith Together.
