WITH ALL YOUR
The Greatest Commandment
LIFE NIGHT - January 8, 2012
During this Life Night, we will discuss the “Greatest Commandment,” which tells us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as our self. To help the teens understand what it really means to love with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength, we talked about things that we love, things that we spend our time on, and how these show us our priorities and what is really important to us. God wants to be our top priority, and He wants us to say, “Yes,” to Him in the ways we choose to use our time and the ways we treat those around us.
Some ideas for discussion with your teen could be:
What are some things that you seem to spend a lot of time on?
What is one way you can say, “Yes,” to God the rest of this week?
How can we as a family make God more of a priority?
